“My artwork takes a critical view of personal obstacles and conflicts within oneself. Having engaged subjects as bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. I use two characters to depict these subject matters, a 7 year old African American kid named Damien, and an imaginary bunny. My work produces bright and colorful imagery despite the true darkness behind it.
I use acrylic paint in all my works and prefer to paint on a large scale, I want the viewer to feel as though they are looking into my mind and seeing my dreams”
