Who? Is your favorite video game character from the Retro ERA?
Pikachu. I used to LOVE Pokemon lol. I still have some of the trading cards. It’s literally the only reason I owned a GameBoy.

What? Is your least favorite video game to play?
ANYTHING related to basketball, football, hockey, or soccer lol. It’s not that I don’t enjoy those sports, but I would rather watch them than play them.

Where? In the video game realm would you like to visit?
The Citadel from Mass Effect 1 was beautiful – so full of life and different cultures (of course, they were alien cultures, but that’s part of what fascinates me so much about it). The first time Shephard and crew enter the Citadel and they do that brief cut scene of the sky… It’s breathtakingly beautiful.

When? Do you think Mario will stop saving the princess?
Nope, because Peach keeps getting her dumb ass captured! After ALL these years you’d think she’d learn to be more careful!.

Why? Do you think it’s now a ritual for FPS players to tea bag your opponent?
Personally, I enjoy tea bagging because it’s THAT much more offense given my biological lack of teabags… I catch a lot of flack in pre- and post-game lobbies so to be able to pwn AND teabag in-game (especially to the sexist, racist jerks) makes me feel accomplished and makes vengeance that much sweeter =).

Hello! My name is Charisse. I’m 22 and I’m (apparently) addicted to video games! But seriously, I’m a really laid back person. I’m a full-time student, part-time writer, part-time model, and lifetime video game enthusiast.

What made you want to sign up for MTV’s true life? Why?
My boyfriend, Corey, loves to read tech/gadget news online. He came across a casting call for True Life: I’m Addicted to Video Games and sent the link to me. At first, I was a bit skeptical because I figured, “everyone and their mother that plays video games is going to apply for this”. But then I considered that I’m not quite like most of the other applicants in at least 3 ways: I’m black. I’m a female. I’m attractive. Not being vain. It is what it is lol. I figured that me appearing on the show could truly shed light on a demographic that most people never consider when it comes to hardcore gamers.
